Food environments – the interface between people and the food system – play a critical role in shaping what we eat. Yet, they typically fail to make nutritious food a reality for most people. Consequently, to improve diets and nutrition-related health outcomes, there is an urgent need for policies and related actions to radically improve these food environments.
This book explores changes in eating habits in African, Latin American and Asian cities.
